Text | A note from a gentleman in Providence intimates that Douglass will be given an opportunity to resign before long. It seems from accounts that he has a taste for writing letters which has killed him as dead as Gen. Scott. Some of his efforts in which he expressed his opinions of the League have not been marked by that calm and dignified tone which a member of the League should take. |
