Text | In the games played here [Washington DC] recently, thoe on the Union Association grounds have drawn more than their half of the public patronage. The first test took place on Saturday, when the Washingtons, the American association team, had as opponents the Clevelands, always a strong favorite in this city, against the counter attraction of the Boston-National Union game. The former game was witness by less than 300, while the grounds of the Union team were crowded by an audience of nearly 2000 people. |
