|Digger Activity=<p>Besides his interest in origins and 19th century baseball, he is active in Negro Leagues research as well. In addition, he is working on an epic baseball-themed photo project. He is taking a picture of every member of the Hall of Fame (living or deceased) with a special baseball he has created called, "The Hall Ball."&nbsp; As of this writing he has photographed 210 Hall of Famers either holding the ball or, if they are no longer alive, of the ball at their grave. Once complete, he is donating the ball and the photos to the Hall of Fame. In order to complete this quest, he will be traveling to Cuba in November 2014 with a group of Negro League researchers.&nbsp; There, he plans to photograph the ball at the graves of Martin Dihigo, Cristobal Torriente and Jose Mendez. <p>In his daily life, he is a theatre director who specializes in Shakespeare. Recently he directed a production of "The Signal Season of Dummy Hoy," the story of the great 19th century baseball player who was one of the first deaf players to reach the major leagues.</p>

Ralph has been working on unifying all of the data for the Greater New York City area in anticipation of the Interdisciplinary Symposium at John Jay College in November 2014.  He has also been looking into new information about the game on Staten Island as well as Manhattan, with a special focus on digitizing the game results from the entirety of the Knickerbocker Game Books in the Spalding Collection at the New York Public Library.
