Text | [from an interview of Spalding] A plain score-card containing the names of the players and their positions is given to every one who wants it as soon as he gets inside the grounds. Another card, containing in addition to the names of the players a lot of information about base-ball generally, is sold for five cents. The Chicago club is the only one in the country that furnishes any kind of a score-card free. |
